Picture frame images
The "frame-small.gif" is for the non-gallery page frames. The "frame-thumbnail.gif" is for gallery thumbnail horizontal images. The "frame-thumbnail-vert.gif" is for gallery thumbnail vertical images. The 8 "frame" .jpg pictures are for the close-up view window frame and slideshow. All frame images can be edited and are located in the template "picts" folder. Extra frames for 2008 models can be found in the "extras" folder.
Removing the frames (2008 and later models)
Rename your "coolstyle.css" to "FRAMES-coolstyle.css", and then rename the "NO-FRAMES_coolstyle.css" to "coolstyle.css". You can edit the 1 pixel border for the images in this CSS file. Edit the "viewer-border" and the "IMAGE HOVER BORDERS" areas.
Using the other frames included with the download (2008 and later models)
The other frame files can be found in the extras folder. For example, to switch to the copper frames, copy the 11 images in the "frames-copper" folder in the "extras" folder into your template "picts" folder overwriting the 11 images there now.
Creating your own frames
You can edit the 11 "frame-??" images in your template "picts" folder with your own frame images. If you are changing sizes for the frames you may need to edit CSS code in your "coolstyle.css" file.
The hover border
In your "coolstyle.css" file you can edit the "viewer-border" and the "IMAGE HOVER BORDERS" areas for image borders inside the frames.

You can remove the picture frames and have a one pixel border around all the images. First, delete or rename the "coolstyle.css". Then rename the "NO-FRAMES_coolstyle.css" to "coolstyle.css". Do the same with the "NO-FRAMES_pop-closeup.js" and the "NO-FRAMES_slideshow.htm" as well.
The following support information is only for older models of this template purchased before May 1, 2005.
Some Allwebco Art Gallery templates have picture frames included. These frames can be removed or replaced. There are a total of 8 .gif pictures for the two smaller frames and 8 .jpg pictures for the pop-up window frame.
You do not need to edit the html code to remove the frames. You can simply replace the pictures that compose the frames with blank .gifs or different frame pictures.
Replace 4 "front_frame_?.gif" pictures with the same sized .gif pictures matching the template background color, or edit them with a different frame graphic. Do the same for the 4 "gallery_frame_?.gif" pictures as well as the 8 "frame_?.jpg" images.
Notes: If you are an experienced HTML programmer you can remove the code for the frames using almost any type of HTML editor.
