Frontpage Tutorial

FrontPage editing, uploading and website setup

Microsoft FrontPage Tutorial
Allwebco templates were created in a plain text editor, however they can be edited using Microsoft FrontPage software. Some files need to be edited in a plain text editor like Notepad. Because the templates were created to be used with any HTML editor, they do not contain proprietary files specifically used by FrontPage. HTML5 and responsive webpages can be edited.

Part #1: Overview:
Before you begin please refer to the Allwebco FrontPage editing support page. Allwebco templates are among the finest and easiest to use I have ever seen. However for those of us using FrontPage they tend to give a tad bit rough go round. However if you are using FrontPage with Allwebco Templates I suggest you follow the tutorials on this site.

FP Extensions:
Originally, FrontPage extension were required to be installed in you web hosting account to use the product. However, FrontPage extensions are no longer supported by Microsoft as of 4/8/2014, and are not included with most web hosting accounts.

With Allwebco website templates the extensions should not be a big concern. Edit your HTML webpages on your local hard drive and use FTP software for uploading, eliminating the need for FP extensions to be installed.

For form setup and configuration see form setup overview or do the steps as outlined on the "help.html" included with your template download.
